We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented
Parts Inspector in our spacious, clean, well equipped safety focused workshop.

  • Machinist 1st or 2nd class

About You:_

You are looking for a new challenge, and want long term job security and have;

  • Experience within the mechanical industry and workshop environment
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and capability to deliver quality work
  • Experience in working within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001).
  • The ability to use hand tools and small power tools
  • Good mechanical ability/aptitude
  • High regard for safety in the workplace
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Pride and attention to detail in their work
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
  • A good knowledge of metal properties, nonferrous and ferrous
  • Are proficient in the use of micrometers and measuring equipment
  • Experience in measurement both imperial and metric
  • Flexible and resilient
  • Forklift license is preferable
  • Experience with overhead cranes

The Role:_

  • Measure and assess cylinder parts in preparation to be quoted
  • Crack testing components using Mag particle and Dye penetrant methods
  • General workshop duties

Shifts Available:_

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • Saturday available (dependent on workload)
Applicants must either be Australian resident or have a valid working business visa.

$ $45.00 per hour
