We are seeking a focused, motivated, and energetic individual for the role of Electronic Instrument Trades Worker with minimum 2 years of experience to join our friendly team on full-time basis.


The key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Install, configure, and calibrate electronic instruments and control systems associated with HVAC units.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC electronic components to ensure proper system operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic faults in HVAC systems, including sensors, controllers, and other related devices.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to accurately diagnose and resolve issues with electronic systems.
  • Ensure that all work complies with industry standards, local codes, and regulations regarding HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with HVAC technicians to manage the integration of electronic controls with mechanical components.
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to monitor HVAC systems and optimize performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and other staff members on the operation and maintenance of electronic controls.
  • Keep detailed records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities performed.
  • Stay current with advances in HVAC technology and electronics through continuing education and training opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or similar trade qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in electronic repairs, preferably within the HVAC industry.
  • Familiarity with various types of HVAC systems and their electronic components.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuitry, digital controls, and pneumatics.
  • Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks such as climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting equipment as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • A valid Refrigerant Handling License may be required.

From $73,150.00 per year
