We are working with a pre eminent fund manager who are looking to expand their sales team with an experienced retail/wholesale business development manager to work with a tight-knit, collaborative team who are focussed on continued growth.

Our client offering includes investment capabilities across Australian and global equities, global emerging markets, Asia Pac equities together with a suite of alternative and systematic strategies.

The role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, ethical and technically strong sales professional to take a senior role within a leading global fund manager.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Working with the wholesale distribution team to grow FUM across adviser networks, brokers, UHWN and private banking clientele within NSW;
  • Work closely with the distribution team to develop and executive systematically on sales processes and business development initiatives across wholesale capital raising channels;
  • Share in the responsibility of achieving sales targets;
  • Develop and maintain a systematic sales process and pipeline;
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships;
  • Contribute to and participate in Adviser PD days, conferences and client seminars.

The Ideal candidate will bring the following experience and attributes:

  • Well-established experience as an investments BDM with ideally between 3-7 years of experience in retail/wholesale markets;
  • A passion for markets and strong understanding of a broad range of investment strategies and asset classes;
  • Mature and systematic approach to sales and clients service;
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant finance/investments discipline;
  • Be a team player and collaborative in your style and approach;
  • Willingness to travel in metro Sydney and NSW;
  • Highly motivated with a passion for sales and client service.
