Senior Manager, Projects, Group Development Management (Based in Sydney, Australia)

The Role

This position will lead a team of Development Managers and provide mentorship and guidance in leading development works for various sectors. The emphasis will be on industrial and logistics experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with teams to identify project risks and mitigation measures.
  • Manage design efficiency, costs optimization, and project timeline forecast.
  • Develop design concepts and options for projects.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for timely regulatory approval of projects.
  • Manage procurement process and selection of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
  • Ensure project time, costs, quality, and safety targets are met during construction.
    • Budget oversight and expense monitoring.
    • Schedule reporting for progress updates.
    • Implement quality control processes to maintain industry standards.
  • Lead the project team in coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support company initiatives such as sustainability and compliance.
  • Prioritize Environmental, Social, and Governance considerations.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership by effectively managing project teams to achieve goals.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in development or project management.
  • Well versed with authority submission process and requirements.
  • Possess strong business acumen, communication skills, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Positive mindset with strong organization and planning skills.
  • Experience in managing full development project cycles.
  • Background in project management with developers preferred.
