Who you are

What you'll do
As the Research Fellow (Sodium-ion Batteries) you will contribute to the development of UniSQ's research in energy storage systems as part of the ARC Industry Transformation Research Hub, the SafeREnergy Hub, including:

  • cutting-edge research with Industry in the area of rechargeable sodium-ion battery systems (including solid-state).
- developing innovative strategies to advance battery research towards commercialisation.
- developing new electrolyte systems, including solid polymer electrolytes and have experience in fabricating cells (coin and pouch), including testing and evaluation of the cells.

What will help you succeed


Key to your success in this role will be your relevant qualification in Chemistry (or Electrochemistry), Materials Science & Engineering or a related field, and extensive experience in materials design, synthesis, and electrochemistry.
