Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research to identify prospective trust, foundation, and institutional donors whose funding priorities align with our organization's mission and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy tailored to engage and solicit support from potential funders.
  • Collaborate closely with program staff to gather relevant data, stories, and evidence to support grant proposals and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of interactions with funders, grant submissions, and funding outcomes.
  • Monitor and analyze trends in trust and foundation funding to identify new opportunities and adapt fundraising strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, or equivalent work experience working in a Trusts, Foundations or Fundraising role.
  • Proven track record of successfully securing funding from trusts, foundations, and institutional donors, with a focus on building longterm relationships.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and tailored proposals that resonate with funders' priorities.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify funding opportunities and assess their suitability for our organization.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders.
