Role Overview

A distinguished federal government client seeks a proficient Salesforce Environment Manager for a significant program encompassing various projects across cutting-edge technologies, with Salesforce at its core.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director to shape team strategy and planning.
  • Lead the environments team to ensure robust service delivery supporting development teams, the NDIA Release program, and maintaining secure and up-to-date environments.
  • Provide delivery management and technical leadership for the environments team.
  • Create service delivery and resource plans to meet Salesforce and MuleSoft environment requirements.
  • Develop and update Salesforce environment plans.
  • Execute hands-on critical Salesforce administration tasks to facilitate releases, CI/CD, and new projects.
  • Continuously review and enhance standards and support processes.
  • Identify automation opportunities for improved Salesforce landscape management.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and collaborate with internal and external parties for resolution.
  • Develop environment and code management plans to support project deployments and fixes.
  • Manage support tickets with Salesforce and uphold platform security.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, and configurations.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce releases for functionality and impact evaluation.
  • Assign tasks, mentor team members, and offer support to the environments team.
  • Support Salesforce projects working with various team members.

Essential Requirements

  • Hold certification as a Salesforce Admin ADM211 or at least ADM201.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Recent hands-on Team Management experience in an enterprise-scale Salesforce environment.
  • Strong background in service delivery management and stakeholder negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration and configuration, familiarity with contemporary tools and DevOps processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation Certification and related experience.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  • Enthusiasm for accessible design & development.

Expectations

  • Hybrid role: Office presence required for 2 days weekly.
  • Entry Level checks mandatory for successful candidates.
  • Australian Citizenship and willingness to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
