- Our client is currently seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant within the aged care sector to join their team and provide a high quality of service to the residents in Keilor Downs. The facility is wellmaintained and includes a chapel, courtyard, conservatory, and even chickens onsite that the residents adore.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in an aged care facility
- An enthusiastic and 'cando' attitude
- Triple Vaccinated against COVID19, and the 2023 influenza vaccination
- Preferably a food handling certificate, however not mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting the chef in all kitchen and cooking duties
- Washing and cleaning utensils and dishes and ensuring appropriate storage
- Handling, sorting, storing and distributing food items
- Serving food to residents
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking, along with assisting with preparing salads and desserts
- Sorting and disposing of rubbish and recycling
- Cleaning and setting up of the dining area for all meals
