  • Located in Brisbane CBD
  • APS5 $53.63 p/h + superannuation

Your new role
The position will provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation. The position is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex research, analysis and advice work. Legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents guide the position as it provides procurement advice.

  • Providing level administrative support to the Procurement team, managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Providing procurement advice and support to the broader Agency.
  • Delivering support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and Guidelines, and department Procurement Policy and procedures.
  • Assisting with tracking value for money based outcomes and preparing reports against KPIs.
  • Preparing a range of procurement related documentation.
  • Entering, extracting and manipulating data to enable accurate Agency reporting.
  • Contributing to team and branch planning activities including identifying opportunities for improvements.

The skills you need

  • Previous Procurement experience, preferably in a Government Agency or Department is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in procurement is necessary for this role
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Be able to pass a national police check
  • Must be an **Australian citizen
