Job Title: Procurement & Contracts Manager

Pace Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Contracts Manager to join our team in Townsville. As a key member of our commercial unit, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Manager to deliver and manage a range of mid-large value contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category plans and sourcing strategies to drive commercial growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations and a team of 2 direct reports to secure the required services and maximize revenue.
  • Sourcing and engaging suppliers through competitive tender processes to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Provide commercial advice to support contract owners and develop long-term collaborative contracts.
  • Deliver commercial and contractual advice within supplier and stakeholder functions to ensure risk management and avoidance.
  • Manage and resolve contractual disputes and claims to maintain strong supplier relationships.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sourcing and contract execution in mining, resources, aviation, or infrastructure industries.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Technical acumen in negotiation and contract management with the ability to work autonomously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience managing enabling services such as lights, camps, security, waste water, and aviation commodities is highly advantageous.
