We own and manage the technology - poles, wires, meters and distributed technologies such as storage - that deliver electricity to homes and businesses within Melbourne's CBD, its suburbs and across central and western Victoria.


About the Role:


Working within the Network Services business unit, the purpose of the role is to manage and optimise resource utilisation across our distribution network to drive successful and efficient delivery of the works program.

We are looking for an action-oriented individual what will be able to strategically plan the resourcing of the works program for each region/depot ensuring the continuous alignment of workload and resources to maximise resource utilisation and external resource engagement.


Key duties andresponsibilities:


Develop and maintain an accurate rolling 12-month resource capacity plan for the allocated area of the businessAnalyse each area's program workload with consideration to program delivery requirements, aiming to maximise workforce productivity, utilisation & project deliveryMonitor and report on forecasted vs actual performance, and ensure that all variances are communicated, understood, and incorporated in future forecastsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring regular review of program delivery to ensure alignment in resource and delivery strategiesDevelop, advise on, and support with implementation of innovative processes and business practice optimisationsRequired skills and experience:Knowledge of the electricity transmission and distribution networks (including design) or previous experience within Distribution and/or Transmission networksStrong working knowledge of SAPAdvance user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordUnderstanding of Works program and capacity planning principles and associated commercial acumenDemonstrated understanding and application of resource planning or project management methods, tools and techniquesAbility to utilise forecasts and reporting to analyse and identify trends to support workload and capacity planning decision makingExperience with planning and reporting tool such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.

Advanced Diploma qualification in ESI Power Systems or a relevant technical trade or project management discipline (desirable)
