About The Role:


This newly created leadership role will be based in our Melbourne office on St Kilda Rd, building out our brand new Energy division.

The purpose of this role is to profitably grow our Energy business by attracting new sales staff, enhancing their knowledge and sales skills, motivating the sales team, structuring their day and pipeline, avoiding cancellations and closing the sale.


Direct reports: 15-25 over time

Key Objectives:

Development of training content to build a high performing team & achieve desired goals

  • Compliance, Energy Industry, Product, Sales

Select, inspire & develop Energy Specialists - you'll be building your team:

Team performance to target:

  • Monthly sales volumes
  • Sales quality and retention
  • QA and compliance
-
Agent development:

  • Onboard and support new recruits as required
  • Improve skills via formal coaching and agent development plans
  • Champion internal sales methodology and process
  • Sales quality check
  • Set goals with agents and develop strategies to deliver on those goals

Lead team:

  • Lead by example with work effort and sales best practice
  • Monthly planning session, target setting and strategy
  • Weekly sales meeting to update on progress

Management responsibilities:

  • Monthly targets and success drivers
  • Shrinkage and attrition
  • Uphold company culture and integrity
  • Adhere and manage commissions process and LIC business rules

About You:

  • 2 years' experience as a team leader of a highperformance outbound sales team and/or
  • 5 years of highperformance energy sales experience
  • 1 year training experience (Classroom and handson)
  • Strong knowledge of how sales team's function within inbound and/or outbound call centre environments
  • Lead from the front
  • Meticulous and organised approach to work
  • Ability to communicate to explain complex issues clearly and concisely;
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline / plan
  • A strong desire to build a high performing team & culture, earn great commission and learn
