Your new role:

Your new opportunity at Penske will have you lead and mentor a strong team of accounts payable professionals. Located at our Chipping Norton Office, you'll have the best of both worlds with a hybrid work environment.

You'll work closely with the AP team to ensure payments are made within terms, manage month-end reporting and improving internal processes.


What will you do?

  • Provide effective leadership to the Accounts Payable team, including performance appraisals, training and development.
  • Ensure payments are made within terms while improving & implementing processes to improve efficiencies
  • Minimise business risk of fraud by ensuring appropriate coding and processing.
  • Promote a collaborative and customerfocused team culture, with a business partnering approach to ensure positive internal relationships.
  • Manage monthend reporting, reconciliations, payment runs and administrative support across claims and cards
  • Coach, inspire and assist our AP team to be the best they can
  • Remain informed of industry benchmark procedures.

What do you need to join us?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce or related field, and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Proven leadership skills we don't need a boss; we need a leader. You'll have worked collaboratively in the past with teams to get the best out of each person individually to ensure team success
  • You'll have experience in all facets of Accounts Payable, including corporate and purchasing cards.
  • Demonstrable experience in reconciliation of high volume and high value transaction accounts.
  • Initiative and awesome problem solving skills with a drive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of BAS and GST
  • Project management experience and the ability to reflect change management and system upgrades
  • Proven experience in foreign currency exchanges, cash flow management and the ability to forecast including daily, weekly and monthly forecasts
