Panthers Penrith
are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and customer focused individual to join their friendly team.

About the Role


We have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate and energetic individual to lead our front of house catering team and manage the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, café and bar.

Being part of a collaborative team, you will lead, motivate and develop your team and inspire them to deliver an exceptional customer experience whilst also ensuring a clean and safe environment for our employees, members and guests.

We are looking for someone who shares our positive 'can-do' attitude and is ready to jump straight into the position.


Your main duties and responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining high levels of customer service to our members and guests at all times;
  • Managing the daytoday operations of Kelly's Brasserie;
  • Shift and staff management including performance management and disciplinary action;
  • Assisting employees and customers with any enquiries;
  • Ordering of stock;
  • Rostering of staff and managing staffing levels;
  • Managing conflict resolution and customer complaints;
  • Completing Daily Shift Reports and following up on corrective actions;
  • Daily cash reconciliation, handling and processing;
  • Develop strategies to help drive financials and revenue for the business;
  • Ensure all areas are presented and cleaned to a high standard at all times;
  • Ensuring the comfort and wellbeing of members and guests by ensuring all WHS requirements are being met at all times and;
  • Adhering to Panthers policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

Essential skills & competencies:

  • At least 2 years' previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry;
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills;
  • Exceptional shift management and customer service skills;
  • Ability to deal with complex situations and make effective business decisions;
  • High standard of personal grooming;
  • Food, wine and beverage knowledge;
  • Current RSA and RCG qualifications and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are required and;
  • Relevant qualifications in Hospitality and/or Management would be advantageous.
You will excel in a multi-skilled team environment, and enjoy providing magnificent customer service.

You are required to be flexible and reliable as you will need to be available 24/7 to work as required
including nights, weekends and public holidays.
