RPS is seeking an experienced
Associate Director to join our Advisory Services -
Commercial & Transactions Advisory team in
Brisbane QLD.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with advisory / consulting/ government/ contractor or other relevant backgrounds, looking to:

  • Join a globally recognised advisory firm listed on the London Stock Exchange.
  • Support the delivery of Australia's largest infrastructure projects.
  • Work closely with RPS senior leaders and our client's senior management to develop creative solutions for delivering transport, education, health, property, and energy projects.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of RPS's Advisory business.
  • As a key member of the local team, you'll use your network and experience to win, plan and deliver projects in the state and provide your expertise to support projects nationally as required.
  • Confidently pragmatic, you'll leverage your experience to help our clients engage with their stakeholders and communities, lead projects and mentor our talented team of Advisory professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Associate Director, you will be adept at providing advice that may span across the entire lifecycle of major public and private sector infrastructure projects

This typically includes:

  • Strategic commercial and technical advice to clients planning, delivering and investing in major public and private sector infrastructure & development projects
  • Establishing the frameworks and managing the execution of governance, procurement, tendering, assessments, and approvals of major Government and private sector infrastructure projects
  • Providing commercial, technical, and operational due diligence of infrastructure assets; and
  • Supporting claims and disputes and other expert services engagements.
  • Additionally, you will:_
  • Be responsible for delivering highquality documents/outcomes as required by the scope of services, client management, management of resources, budgets etc.
  • Lead an integrated project team with multidisciplinary membership from the RPS businesses, client organisation and other advisors
  • Support the development of less experienced RPS employees
  • Contribute to the recruitment of suitable employees for RPS
  • Work with the RPS team in Business Development, seeking new clients and assignments; and
  • Leading the preparation of tenders/proposals for opportunities aligned with RPS capabilities

ABOUT YOU
You will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Law, Management &/or Engineering; and

  • A strong understanding and proven experience with stakeholder management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to multidisciplinary audiences, including senior executivelevel clients
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work cooperatively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Sound analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Experience with major infrastructure or services transactions using varying contracting models
  • Ability to manage and grow business relationships; and
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
