This professional services firm is looking for the perfect events administrator to take the reins on ensuring the back end of event organisation runs smoothly and without hiccups.

What is unique about you?:


As an experienced Events Administrator you know all the ins and outs, the good and ugly that goes into the planning of events.

Everything from budgets, quotes, negotiations, compromise, and pinpoint precise organisation skills.

You are a savvy whiz who can always find the next best deal and know exactly what your organisation needs.

As you will be working with multiple departments and individuals, both internally and externally, your written and verbal communication skills will need to be close to perfection to limit or cut off any miscommunication.

You will not necessarily be the individual running the events but will be the individual making sure the nitty gritty gets done.

You are also not afraid to take the reins or put your foot down when it comes to finances to ensure individuals stick to strict budgets without dampening the quality of said events.


A snapshot of your role:

  • Liaise with finance and accounts team to create budgets prior to coordination of events, and present budget proposals to Executives when required
  • Create detailed spreadsheets and records of expenses and logs, ensuring all documentation is maintained and receipts are reconciled for accounts, and invoices are tracked
  • Booking travel for Executives including accommodation, tickets, Visas, and bookings for interstate or oversees events, this includes external Executives attending events when necessary
  • Liaise with multiple departments, individuals and external vendors and ensuring records and database are kept up to date with any changes and updates
  • Supporting the Events team with administrative tasks and general adhoc requirements, managing the Event Coordinator's calendar and diary of bookings, and ensuring to resolve any administrative issues as they arise
