An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual with highly developed administration and coordination skills to join the recruitment team at Northern Health.


Working within the People and Culture team and working closely with both the Medical Workforce Unit and Director - Nursing Workforce and Strategy, you will be primarily focusing on the area of international recruitment in addition to other delegated administrative tasks.


The core functions of this role will be:

  • Checking of recruitment data for accuracy, raising any issues or errors with the senior coordinator or Manager of recruitment or the Medical Workforce Unit
  • Ensure teams provide all supporting documentation for processing visas, including follow up if required documents are not received by the required timeframe
  • Compile data to submit to payroll for the release of funding to the Internationally recruited staff member
  • Assist with and coordinate organisational reporting for new and ongoing international employees visa status including the maintenance of data sets to enable accurate and timely reporting to internal and external key stakeholders
  • Coordinating the collection, recording and validation of any reimbursement claims submitted by internationally recruited healthcare workers in line with Department of Health and Northern Health procedure

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to multitask and manager competing priorities
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and ideally experience in using healthcare or administrative systems
