About the team

Finance makes it easier for us to win together as a business. Our team works side-by-side with every other team to help bring commercial thinking into what they do and make moves that support our strategic business decisions.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our Store Development Team. With a team of over 400, our finance team offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.

About the role

This role will see you supporting Store Development stakeholders with their processes and initiatives. Leveraging your analytical skills to drive insights and provide financial analysis on store performance, you'll also;

  • Work cross-functionally with property, network planning, operations and corresponding finance teams to ensure insights and analysis are accurate and well communicated
  • Own the monthly actuals review and forecast for store development capital and operating expenditure including write-offs
  • Support the Store Development Business Partner to evaluate capital investment proposals for store renewals and provide financial input into CAC papers, PIR reviews and annual Board Paper
  • Support the Store Development Business Partner to assist the Store Investment team with the end to end delivery of the store renewal program
  • Drive business action through financial insight on renewed stores performance via a weekly performance dashboard

About you and your skills

You will be a technically astute finance professional with a solid understanding of key financial metrics. You will be able to provide key analytical support and work collaboratively with the Store Development team, providing both support and challenge to ensure the best possible business outcomes.

You'll also have:

  • Advanced management reporting skills
  • Advanced financial review skills
  • Proficient systems experience with advanced financial modelling skills
  • Solid understand of financial statements and key financial metrics
