About the role
We have an exciting opening for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join the Technology Delivery function on a full-time fixed-term basis.
The Technology Delivery function oversees the entire technology investment portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the Group Strategy, and provides centralized project delivery guardrails, governance, and oversight to enhance our delivery predictability and business value.
As theSenior Portfolio Analyst, you will:
- Play a vital role collaborating across portfolios to offer relevant and timely insights on project status, risks, issues, and dependencies, to mitigate delivery uncertainties.
- Ensure a cohesive perspective of initiatives in the pipeline and adequately document initiatives based on their project lifecycle stage.
- Lead Technology investment governance meetings, coordinate the assessment of incoming work against the strategy and capital plan, and evaluate business case quality and readiness.
- Cultivate a culture of teamwork and continuous enhancement throughout the technology project management community, advising and supporting project managers with suitable project standards, guardrails, and templates.
- Offer valuable insights into portfolio performance, health, and cycle times to facilitate informed decision-making that delivers customer value.
About you & your expertise
- Demonstrated experience in a senior project/portfolio analyst or similar role in the Information Technology realm.
- Proficiency in PMO functions and Project & Portfolio Management tools.
- Firm grasp of Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
- Experience in collaborating with teams that have embraced agile delivery techniques.
- Handling multiple delivery tasks in dynamic, fast-paced environments involving business, technology, governance, and other departments.
- Experience in creating executive-level materials.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills at all levels (both written and verbal).
- Strong numerical abilities and comprehension of key financial metrics, including analyzing financial budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
