Our Home Lending Specialists work from our Commbank branches. They are individuals who excel at nurturing long-term relationships. They possess the skill of asking the right questions to offer appropriate lending solutions, fostering trust, confidence, and advocacy in each interaction.

Engage in meaningful work

Whether a client is purchasing their first or second home, venturing into property investment, refinancing, constructing, or renovating; you will be there to provide timely and tailored solutions, ensuring a superb experience for them.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding and advising customers to realize their home ownership aspirations
  • Conducting initial interviews and meetings with potential home buyers to identify suitable lending solutions and process applications
  • Offering pertinent recommendations to clients based on their property ownership objectives
  • Delivering exceptional service to clients, establishing trust, confidence, and advocacy to aid them in achieving and improving their financial objectives
  • Cultivating your personal reputation and connections within the local community to bolster your credibility
  • Growing your clientele by establishing and nurturing internal and external referral networks, and tapping into referrals from existing clients
  • Engaging with potential home buyers to establish rapport, understand their requirements and aspirations, and inviting them to visit the branch for consultations
  • Adhering to the Bank's protocols, practices, and Code of Conduct, meticulously assessing customers' financial standings, conducting security checks, and ensuring applications conform to our requirements
  • Participating in regular coaching sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in lending, and guiding your branch colleagues on best practices
  • Staying informed about the broader market trends, economic developments, and industry shifts that impact customers and the Group
  • Utilizing tools to gather customer feedback, and promptly addressing any service hiccups to drive enhancements

We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • Background in a similar home lending role in a bank or mortgage brokerage setting
  • Proven track record in business development
  • Thorough understanding of home lending products and current regulations on responsible lending
