A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the
Total Tools team as an
Accounts Officer, based at our Port Melbourne Support Office.

This newly created position, due to growth within our Finance Team, will suit an experienced accounts receivable or payable officer.

You will have experience working with various stakeholders and are comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

What will you be doing?

  • Liaising with suppliers, customers, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure a highly accurate and timely processing of accounts
  • Ensuring supplier & customer reconciliations are processed on a timely basis
  • Completing daily bank and cash drawer reconciliations
  • Preparing the weekly payment run (EFT)
  • Reconciling and issuing supplier rebate claims, and following up on overdue accounts
  • Reviewing and processing concur expense reimbursements
  • Monitoring both the 'goods received, not invoiced' and 'goods in transit' registers and, working with receiving teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Attending to internal/external accounts enquiries
  • Supporting accountants with monthend reconciliations and providing accrual lists
