**About the company**

One of the most respected & renowned national construction companies is seeking a switched-on **Accounts Payable Officer** to join their growing team. This company has been around for over 60 years and is well-reputed across **commercial, retail, residential and industrial **construction. They are an industry leader in innovation, service and sustainability.

**About the role**

You will be joining an Accounts Payable team of 6, managing invoices of one state. You will have some experience in a similar role and will be eager to learn & develop your skillset. This role will have you processing a high volume of invoices daily and working closely with the Project Managers & Contract Administrators to do so.

**Duties**
- Checking that Public Liability/WorkCover/Professional Indemnity Insurances are current
- Check for ABN and GST registration
- Entering orders & variations into TS GOLD System
- Handling account queries in a timely manner
- Matching invoices with site instructions/ material orders or sub-contract orders/ consultant orders
- Chasing sites and creditors for order numbers
- Collating/reconciling end-of-month statements
- Sending Release letters to Sub-contractors for final payment
- Chasing up on old Invoices/Queries

**Skills & Experience**
- 2+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable officer
- Willingness to learn and eagerness to grow
- High professional and personal standards
