About the Role:

The Interoperability Implementation team sits within the Clinical and Digital Health Standards Governance Branch of the Digital Strategy division.

Reporting to the Director, Interoperability Implementation and Project Manager, the Project Support Officer is accountable under limited direction to perform, coordinate and provide support for a range of moderately complex to complex project support activities and administration.


The Project Support Officer is an important conduit within the Division providing direct support to the project team, and through consultation and stakeholder engagement coordinates and contributes to the timely and accurate achievement of Division outcomes.


The key skills and experience required include:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Support Officer within large organizations
  • Adept with MS Office Suite, including Project, Visio, Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with numerous stakeholders via several means, e.g. workshop facilitation
  • Responsible for coordinating meetings, agenda and minute preparation, and follow up on outstanding actions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform, coordinate and provide support for a range of moderately complex to complex project support activities and administration.

  • Provide direct support to the project team, and through consultation and stakeholder engagement coordinates and contributes to the timely and accurate achievement of Division outcomes.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a level designated by the Agency on request
  • Ability to obtain and maintain national police check.
  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility
