An opportunity has arisen within our Corporate Integritydepartment for an experienced and professional Resource Officerwithin the Community Safety and Compliance unit. The successfulapplicant must have the relevant knowledge and experience asoutlined in the position description. What you'll beworking on

  • • Responsible for creating andmaintaining databases and any additional databases asrequired for the efficient functioning of the Unit.

    • Work collaboratively with the Community Safety andCompliance unit's Team Leaders and the administrative BusinessSupport Officers.

    • Maintain a good working knowledge of all legislation inrelation to relevant Acts and Local Laws.

    • Assist in updating policies and procedures to ensure theefficient functioning of the Unit as directed by theCoordinator Community Safety and Compliance.

    • Research and develop present data and information in aclear, concise, and professional format.

    • Work with Team Leaders Parking, Local Laws, and AnimalManagement on special projects as required.

What you need tosucceed

  • • Advanced skills inadministration, organization, and computerprograms/databases.

    • Extensive experience in dealing with customers andmembers of the public.

    • Ability to manage time and set priorities.

    • Maintain a good working knowledge of legislationrelevant to the role.

    • Ability to resolve conflict situations and negotiatewith emotional customers.

    • Responsible for the effective daily support toCoordinator Community Safety and Compliance.
