The Company


Our client is an iconic, global manufacturing organisation producing some of the most well-known brands for hot water, solar, and energy storage systems.

They are seeking energetic, passionate Technical Sales Manager to join their growing business.

The Role
The position reports to the Commercial Sales Manager.

The incumbent is required to:

  • Work as part of a small team and accept direction from the Commercial Sales Manager with the objective of meeting sales targets.
  • Execute sales strategies.
  • Identify and report on opportunities within the market.
  • Identify competitor activity within the market and report accurately.
  • Utilise CRM tools to manage the project pipeline by identifying opportunities from sales leads and then convert those opportunities into profitable sales.
  • Identify, develop and grow customer relationships within the market with a view to generating profitable sales.
  • Leverage relationships with commercial customers to promote all company products including both commercial and domestic ranges.
  • Negotiate at all levels within their nominated customer base to ensure the profitable sales of products

Requirements:

Education

  • Electrical or plumbing trade experience/qualification.
  • Formal Sales education from a recognised institute, college or university

Experience:

  • 2 years' experience in a "front line" sales/advisory/technical role with excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills in both commercial and technical matters
