About you
As our

_Communications Coordinator_, you'll be a team player with demonstrated ability and willingness to perform different functions within a fast-paced media and communications team including helping to coordinate and supporting the work of the team. You'll use your professional and technical expertise, strong attention to detail and positive can-do attitude to manage competing demands and build strong stakeholder relationships.

To thrive in this role you'll have:

  • Experience and understanding of GP Training and the RTO sectora relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications
- excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters in an easy to understand, plain English
- thorough understanding of marketing, communication and brand management principles, along with the communication planning/creative development process
- excellent organisational and planning skills, with experience taking initiative and delivering multiple activities simultaneously under pressure and meeting deadlines

About the opportunity
Reporting to the

_Communications Manager,_
***you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to coordinate a range of communications functions for GP Training. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop communication plans and create and disseminate news, stories and key messages and improve communication with our members.

In addition you'll:
- develop a range of communications, including but not limited to: eDMs, newsletters, organisational updates, collateral, calendars of events, web copy, key messages documents, social media content and plans and briefings
- partner with internal stakeholders to develop disseminate engaging content on a range of RACGP-owned channels, the RACGP website, social media channels to enhance and promote GP Training
- provide assistance to the media team as required including managing some media enquiries
- contribute to the planning, organisation and implementation of marketing activities to support GP Training
