About the role
The Leadership Development Programs Lead is pivotal in driving impactful leadership initiatives for the Department of Education corporate employees. You will collaborate with the team and various stakeholders to design, deliver and evaluate leadership strategies. You will create an integrated portfolio of development programs that fuel a culture of exceptional performance and excellence.

Responsibilities

:

  • Fostering strategic partnership with key stakeholders, to drive collaboration and leverage expertise.
  • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring suitable development program procurement.
  • Design, evaluate and enhance leadership programs to ensure they align with the Department's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Empower team member's professional growth by providing guidance support and development opportunities.
  • Maximise talent synergy through strategic alignment of identification and development initiatives.

Essential requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Change or a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Significant experience in developing and implementing culture change and leadership development programs in complex environments.
