We currently have an opportunity for an experienced
Soft Services Manager or
Client Services Manager to join our team.
With a large team of direct and indirect reports, this role will be based at a new, premium grade healthcare facility, in Melbourne CBD.
You will be responsible for the management of approximately 15 different services and deliver optimum results in relation to operations, leadership, client relations, and financial management.
What you'll do
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- Lead a large team of subcontractors and supplier, as well as a large team of direct and indirect reports for the provision of key service lines.
- Provide safety and quality oversight including information, instructions and supervision to the managed teams, ensuring the highest levels of safety and compliance are always maintained.
- Manage the delivery of services to a set budget and drive productivity improvements.
- Coordinate any shutdown related activities for the services under management.
- Drive the performance of subcontractors and suppliers in accordance to the requirements of the contract.
- Gain performance data and contribute to the contract reporting frameworks in relation to soft services and operations.
- Ensure any corrective actions, reactive activities, as well as any required client correspondence is action in a timely and effective manner.
What you'll bring
- Experience in managing large teams within a similar position.
- Sound knowledge of waste management, garment management and cleaning services.
- Strong background in soft services within a highly regulated environment (pharma, healthcare, food industry preferred).
- High level of computer literacy, including CMMSs, the Office Package & SAP.
- Welldeveloped written and oral communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels in a professional & courteous manner.
- Ability to follow set procedures in a fastpaced multiple transaction environment.
- Experienced in quality management systems is highly desirable.
