We are currently seeking a Claims Support Officer to provide administrative assistance and support functions in relation to mail and document management processes for all CTP and PI Claims operations teams. The core purpose of this role is to support the effectiveness of document management within Insurance Claims operations and to increase the efficiency and quality of the functions performed.

We currently have 1 position available. This role are Full-time fixed-term contracts for 6 months. This is a Brisbane based role and we are looking for someone who is available to work 5 days a week on site at our Heritage Lanes, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane CBD.

What you'll do:

Mail Management Functions:

Scan incoming mail Understand all the different types of documentation used by customers in Insurance Claims Manage documentation including indexing, document typing and archiving

Document Management Functions

Prepare, proof and dispatch outbound correspondence in support of claim lodgment and claim management Manage the request, receipt and dispatch of claim information (medical records etc) Perform general administrative tasks for Leader as requested

Team Accountabilities

Support and participate in a collaborative team environment Maintain your own Enlighten data Adhere to the Team and Suncorp values and behaviours

What you'll bring:

Attention to detail – accurately checking and processing tasks and showing concern for all aspects of the role Change management – ability to recognise, understand and support need for change and anticipated impact on both the team and self Communication Skills – ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written Computer Skills - Proficient keyboard skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office applications Customer Service – committed to increasing customer experience and delivering high quality solutions within required timeframes Decisiveness – ability to make effective decisions in a timely manner Planning and organisation skills – establishing a process to complete tasks (either personal or for others) and allocating appropriate resources in achievement of same Problem solving – ability to quickly grasp information and/or seek out information, break down problems and situations into simple lists of components, options or alternatives
