About the Role: As a Compliance Officer, you'll have a key role in offering expert guidance and assistance across different business areas, ensuring adherence to regulations and maintaining our dedication to integrity. You'll collaborate with internal teams, providing insights and suggestions to strengthen our Compliance Framework and promote continuous enhancement.
What You'll Do:
- Offer timely and high-quality regulatory and compliance guidance to internal teams.
- Collaborate in enhancing our Compliance Framework to meet evolving regulatory demands.
- Support the implementation and accomplishment of our Compliance Plan goals.
- Review and advise on compliance elements of promotional materials, such as advertisements and training content.
- Create and revise Compliance policies to mirror regulatory modifications and business requirements.
- Contribute to assurance activities and monitoring endeavors to reduce compliance risks.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process and system enhancements to boost compliance efficiency.
- Display the core values of Auto & General in all engagements with stakeholders.

- Background in compliance, risk, or legal positions within the financial services sector, specifically in general insurance.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, statutory obligations, and industry protocols, focusing on the Australian market.
- Qualifications in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Audit domains are highly valued.
