My client is a high profile, well known and independent Australian commercial law firm founded in 1885.


The firm operates a full commercial law service as a fully integrated national firm with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.


The Opportunity


My client is looking to fill a fulltime permanent role where your prior
function centre, front office hotel reception or
major restaurant experience is highly sort after as part of the role will require you to assist with the setup, take down, move around and set up again of board room and cocktail party areas - _You will certainly meet your 10k steps per day in this role so you will also need to be physically fit.

In this role you will have a variety of tasks that also include front office reception relief as well as other administrative tasks and even the chance to be trained in tasks undertaken as a legal secretary therefore it is imperative that you have corporate presentation along with a confident, friendly and have an outgoing personality......

Other duties associated with this role are:

  • Lunchtime and relief Reception cover
  • Administrative support to teams as required
  • Meeting room & event set up
  • Mail sorting and distributing incoming & outgoing mail and internal mail rounds
  • Ordering stationery and staff kitchen supplies
  • Photocopying, scanning and other tasks, such as binding and collating documents
  • Outside clerk rounds to other buildings, practices, and offices
  • Building management liaison including maintenance requests and general facilities management tasks
  • Organising couriers
  • Meeting room & event set up
  • Assisting the information technology support team with IT hardware set up and maintenance
