Role Overview:
As an APS 6 Program Officer, you will contribute to protecting Australia's biosecurity and trade system. This role involves conducting data analytics, investigating non-compliance, and ensuring accurate profiling information to mitigate risks. Your efforts will directly impact Australia's economy, trade, and agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analytics to support profiling activities and identify areas of noncompliance.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce noncompliance and leakage, contributing to regulatory enhancement.
  • Ensure data integrity by accurately recording profiling information and supporting governance enhancement.
  • Provide administrative support and maintain meticulous recordkeeping.
  • Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of the biosecurity regulatory environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, coupled with adaptability in a fastpaced setting.
  • Ability to autonomously manage workload and foster collaborative relationships.
