About the role:


This role focuses on reporting to assistant directors to create and develop policies, workforce engagement and model specifications to better the community.


Duties

  • Assist and contribute to the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures
  • Provide advice including anticipating problems and contributing to issues management
  • Support the Assistant Director by mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work prior to progressing work for clearance
  • Coordinate risk assessment and risk management activities for a project or program

Required experience/skills

  • Prior experience in project management and/or policy development
  • Ability to plan and manage activities
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, experience in preparing a range of written materials and documentation, and tailoring messages and style to different audiences
