The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is looking for a
Group Reservations Agent to join the team on a
Full-Time basis.

What you will do:

  • Handle & coordinate guest requests arise prior to group arrival.
  • Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes.
  • Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or mail.
  • Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type, verify availability of room type and rate.
  • Ability to respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests, to ensure proper billing accounts according to accounting policies.
  • Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
  • Accommodate and document special requests.
  • Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
  • Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Effectively communicate details to the relevant departments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collect and record customers data for future bookings. Provide relevant information and answers to any questions from potential customers and follow up on their enquiries.
