Our business is growing, we now require a dynamic full-time administrator to join our dedicated and friendly team.

The Brightspace is a unique learning hub in Botany NSW which inspires learning for children and adults. We deliver engaging tutoring classes, creative workshops and special events which bring people together in a fun, welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with and welcome customers, children and adults
  • Taking customer bookings
  • Scheduling and liaising with tutors, artists and event hosts
  • Updating planning sheets for events and classes
  • Setting up and maintaining the space to accommodate for events and classes
  • Maintaining and enhancing the office space
  • Ordering and managing equipment and supplies
  • Invoicing customers and paying suppliers
  • Updating and ensuring the accuracy of expenses
  • Updating procedure documents
  • Organising and distributing printed and digital marketing materials
  • Collecting customer feedback, reviews, contacts
  • Coordination with marketing personnel
  • Social media support
  • Capturing photo/video footage of events
  • Contribute to planning new events and programs
  • Assisting with onboarding new artists, tutors and support staff
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • All general administrative duties

  • Shows good initiative and is a quickthinker
  • Be a skilled multi tasker who is able to work unsupervised
  • Be highly organised and have strong time management skills
  • Have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Be competent in the use of technology including spreadsheets and word processing, Canva an advantage
  • Demonstrate creative thinking
  • Be determined to see tasks through to completion with a high level of accuracy

Prior experience in an administration/customer service role is essential (minimum 5 years);
experience in marketing, event planning or a creative field an advantage.


This is a full time position with the opportunity for long term employment and career/salary progression for the right person.

$ $32.00 per hour
