We currently have a great opportunity for Marketing Support Officer part-time, permanent role.

The role requires a flexible and consultative approach, is expected to be able to work effectively individually with mínimal supervision and be able to proactively collaborate within a team.

The role encompasses significant administrative components to support general marketing objectives, brand and promotional activities and outcomes, and requires a high standard of accurate, timely, comprehensive performance.


This position is a key support to Head of Marketing and our Marketing Business Partner and provides high quality administration support to further the airport's marketing objectives across Melbourne Airport's brand, advertising and commercial marketing program.

With the aviation and travel sector booming as we head into 2023, on top of major projects that will underpin the future growth and development of Melbourne Airport and Victoria as a whole, now is a very exciting time to join

Key responsibilities:

  • Team organisation: Diary management, booking of rooms/ coordination of team meetings, venue bookings, organising catering
  • Advertising scheduling: Weekly scheduling and trafficking of ads via our oOhmedia scheduler and excel planner
  • Contra partnership reporting: Briefing in assets to support contra partnership & monitoring contra delivery
  • Budget tracking and purchase order/expense reconciliation via Dynamics 36
  • PowerPoint presentation preparation
  • Special projects: management of creative sign off and approval
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a changing environment
  • A solutionsfocused approach and ability to quickly resolve problems
  • Sound written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills that can adapt depending on the audience
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an environment with competing demands and priorities. Able to take direction with an ability to think creatively and work under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exercise initiative in undertaking responsibilities and work effectively as a team member
  • Proven capacity to provide high standard and accurate work within in a fastpaced environment
  • Proven highlevel personal communication skills with the ability to quickly develop rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience with Dynamics 365 or Financial Management software.
  • Demonstrated experience in a marketing communications environment.
  • Minimum 23 years' experience in an administration role within a marketing team.
