About the role
We are on the lookout for an experienced and creative

Communications Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing team in the

Sydney CBD. This role is a

full-time permanent position. Reporting to the General Manager of Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for marketing content and our social media marketing. We are looking for a storyteller with exceptional writing and editing skills in the digital arena.

Objectives

  • Create original content and manage communications across channels.
  • Write SEOoptimised content for website pages, blogs, campaigns, FAQs, etc.
  • Support digital team with written copy for ads, A/B tests and conversionrate optimised landing pages.
  • Produce thoughtleadership and influencer pieces such as case studies.
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar to increase awareness to build our online audience, improve our engagement rates and drive subscribers, and online form fills for lead nurture and lead generation.
  • Develop a quarterly customer newsletter and manage responses.
  • Manage customer reviews, complaints, FAQ pages, surveys and general communications.
  • Measure, track and benchmark marketing content activities to continuously improve. Including creating metrics and delivery of quality and timely reporting.

About you

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar allrounder Communications/Content role, but if not, the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow will set you apart from the rest
  • You are innovative and constantly looking for ideas to deliver engaging content.
  • You have experience with making complex content simple.
  • Successfully collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ideal role if you have a journalism or copywriting background.
  • It's an advantage if you have experience in Canva, Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn and video content coordination.
