About the Role


Gaining excellent exposure to the operations of our business, we are seeking a
Communications Specialist to join an industry that aims to make a difference.


Working closely with our Integrity Systems Company team, you'll make a difference by produce engaging, high-quality and reader-centric content for our communications channels.

You'll also work with MLA staff and industry partners to provide expert communications advice and identify communications opportunities of communications campaigns, plans and publications.


Our ideal Communications Specialist will need to:

  • Interview, write and self-edit high-quality, engaging and reader-centric content for our communications channels, including print and digital
  • Build a good understanding of media news cycles and key media contacts in the print, electronic and digital areas.
  • Build a good understanding of most effective channels used to communicate to relevant industry stakeholder groups.
  • Generate content leads with assigned program area managers.
  • Proactively collaborate with MLA's Content Manager in clarifying briefs and responding to feedback.
  • Ensure our communications complies with our brand and style guide
  • Ability to translate technical information into plain English.
