Digital Victoria sits within the Department of Government Services (DGS). DGS was established on 1 January 2023 to improve Victorian's experience of doing business and interacting with the government.+

The Cyber Security Branch (CSB) works collaboratively with departments and agencies to deliver Victoria's Cyber Strategy 2021 and reduce harm from cyber incidents.

The CSB seek an experienced individual in the role of Principal Advisor, Cyber Incident Response Operations.

As a key part of the 24/7/365 cyber security operating model, this role will be responsible for:

- coordinating significant and emergency cyber incidents that affect the Victorian Government
- supporting technical response and resolution
- providing expert cyber intelligence advice and support
- training and mentoring a team of cyber experts.

About You
- more than 3 years experience in cyber incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, threat hunting, or security operations
- proven technical proficiency in responding to, articulating and resolving complex technical problems and concepts
- excellent stakeholder skills, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across both technical and non-technical audiences
- success in building, mentoring and training a team and driving performance
- ability to obtain Negative Vetting 1 clearance within 12 months of commencement.
