Cyber Defence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Defence Analyst to join our team at TeamLogic IT of Northeast Massachusetts. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for operating proactively to establish strong and effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cyber defence trend analysis and reporting to support operational, strategic and board requirements
- Support initiatives that help to uplift maturity of the Security Operations Centres within our businesses
- Assist with the creation and implementation of investigation playbooks
- Support material cyber security incident response activities across the Wesfarmers Group (specifically with the identification, investigation and containment stages)
- Support Group-level post-incident analysis of material incidents to the Wesfarmers Group in order to extract and share lessons learned to improve future responses
- Continuously look for ways to improve our policies, standards and procedures as it relates to cyber incident response
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practice to enhance the Groups ability to anticipate and respond effectively to potential cyber security incidents
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a large, complex environment
- Experience in developing security operations and defence protocols, processes and reporting in hybrid and cloud-centric environments (e.g. AWS and Azure)
- Understanding of security technology including SIEM, EDR, Identity Detection and Network security
- Experience in threat and risk analysis/modelling, global industry practices, for incident response, threat management and / or security engineering
- Experience with enterprise IT environments, attack modelling and response activities
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including an ability to positively influence key stakeholders
- A naturally inquisitive and analytical mind, and strong ability to problem solve
- Ability to apply critical thinking to identify ongoing opportunities for continuous improvement
- A genuine interest and passion to learn and develop new skills
- Tertiary qualifications in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a Cyber Security specialisation
- Experience in at least two or more industries
- Experience in cyber incident management for OT systems
