We are in need of a Receivables, Payables & Payroll Accountant to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations within the organization. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes, reporting directly to the Chief Accountant.

Responsibilities:
  • Issue and record invoices
  • Identify and monitor slow-paying clients, proposing solutions to improve DSO
  • Work with the HR team to establish and oversee payroll procedures. Manage timely accounting of payroll transactions such as salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions
  • Record and process business transactions, validate and handle invoices, and verify financial data for maintaining accounts payable records
  • Ensure invoices align with accounting standards: Approved Purchase Requests, receipt of goods/services, etc.
  • Implement robust monitoring systems to guarantee prompt vendor payments
  • Maintain General Ledger accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team on payments, receipts, and reconciliations
  • Ensure precise storage of financial documents for payment, audit, and tax purposes
  • Manage vendor and client databases in the accounting software
  • Recommend accounting enhancements (Chart of Accounts, tools, etc.)
  • Identify and communicate financial process improvement opportunities
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks
  • Generate additional reports and contribute to special projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, CMA, etc.) preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, with at least 2 years handling APs and/or ARs
  • Experience in an international blockchain setting is beneficial
  • Experience in multi-country accounting is essential
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Comfortable with technological advancements and their application
  • Attentive to detail
  • Independent and self-driven
  • Positive and proactive approach
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Capable of working in a remote, globally dispersed team
  • Perform well under time constraints and meet deadlines
