What does the job look like?

Linfox operates Intermodal services across Australia, providing innovative and comprehensive supply chain solutions to various industries.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to ensure we continue to meet our commitment to an iconic grocery customer through the provision of quality service and operational efficiency.


Through a proactive approach to relationship management, this role is integral to facilitate customer retention and growth in share of wallet by ensuring we meet our operational commitment to remain the logistics provider of choice for long-distance logistics across road and rail.

This role is the key link between the customer and our operational teams so an ability to influence and ensure appropriate capacity is maintained is required to be successful.


Key areas:

  • Manage the relationship with a highly valued customer, ensuring service delivery aligns with contractual commitments
  • Conduct financial and operational analysis to provide customer insights and ensure resources can be utilised to support continuous growth, operational improvement, reduce costs and increase share of wallet
  • Effective team management to promote a customer centric culture and early identification of potential service issues to enable solutions
  • Reviewing and establishing customer contracts & transport agreements and manage new customer integration to ensure a seamless transition to a successful implementation
  • Promote a safety first culture and adherence to safe and compliant working environment

You can demonstrate:

  • Ideally experience in account management within a complex supply chain environment or operational experience with a proactive approach to relationship management
  • Providing clientfocused solutions in a fastpaced multi customer environment
  • Understanding of revenue models, rate cards, P/L, costtoserve and commercial analytics
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement and manage contracts and/or agreements
  • Selfmotivated, analytical and methodical to drive results
