What you'll do as a Procurement Analyst at Akuna.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with new and existing vendors to obtain predominantly ITrelated quotes to purchase hardware, software and services
  • Evaluate products and offerings from vendors to help make purchasing decisions
  • Solicit multiple bids and negotiate pricing on contracts and renewals to ensure quotes are competitive and costeffective
  • Conduct costbenefit analyses that facilitate the transformation of data into actionable insights that drive cost savings while balancing risks and timelines
  • Build relationships with various internal teams and stakeholders, as well as external vendors.
  • Partner with internal teams to understand requirements and timelines
  • Identify opportunities and propose solutions to continually improve our processes and operational efficiency
  • Partner with the Finance Team to prepare monthly reporting
  • Ensure products and services are received and coordinate shipping as needed
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Exposure to IT hardware and asset management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for understanding the products and services we purchase to support our trading and operations infrastructure
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus
  • Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to prioritize responsibilities and multitask
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment
  • Selfstarter with excellent communication skills and a cando attitude
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams
