About the Company:
An established builder specialising in residential, commercial and industrial property works, insurance repairs, remedial building projects and much more.

They are currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager based in Mascot.

About the Role of the Health & Safety Manager: Health & Safety Manager required to streamline processes and procedures across the commercial, residential and industrial business unit. You will be instrumental to leading the safety culture within the business, improving HSE procedures and achieving vision zero.

By understanding the safety strategy you are responsible for developing the R&I strategy to reflect these standards.

  • Demonstrating performance by achieving the set safety goals in relation to corporate, business unit and site standard.
  • Ensuring all site documentation including policies, procedures and permits are monitored and up to date.
  • Chair monthly leadership meetings to coach and support business unit safety managers to enforce safety standards and targets.
  • Review and communication of emergency management procedures

Requirements for the Health & Safety Manager:

  • Tertiary Qualification in a Health and Safety related Discipline Minimum 5 years experience as a Safety Manager
  • Experience of streamlining processes and procedure across business unit, sites and across staff
  • Sound knowledge of Risk Management methodologies and auditing processes.
  • Must have Civil Construction experience
