The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for an experienced Systems Functional Analyst who holds a background in Diesel and/or Auto Electrical Mechanics, to join our successful team. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide input into business projects impacting on OMS technology
  • Drive continuous improvement, process improvements across the OMS platforms
  • Co-ordinate and participate in user acceptance testing ensuring deployment of solutions
  • Foster relationships with third party vendors to maintain application availability and optimisation to the business
  • Assist with the provision and design of systems, JDE, in-cab supporting software and applications
  • Identify potential change risks, plan and execute mitigation activities

About You

  • Experience in working within Business improvement projects within a large complex organisation with the use of project management delivery principles
  • Basic to intermediate experience across Microsoft Office
  • Tertiary (TAFE) qualified in operations/logistics/engineering/maintenance or similar
  • Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law and relevant industry and local regulations
  • Hands-on experience with in-cab technology & fleet management including telematics devices, IP cameras, RFID, in-cab tablet, driver safety features, vehicle wiring
  • Working knowledge of Android operating system
  • Experience in working collaboratively with drivers / mechanics / fleet managers / third party vehicle maintenance providers
  • Demonstrated experience in repair of in-cab technology solution components. Work with truck telematics vendor and provide "over the air" support potential problem fixing
  • Knowledge of HS&E standards and practices
