Claims Assistant - Engineering & Construction

Sedgwick is now seeking a proactive, driven and experienced Claims Assistant to join our team. This exciting career opportunity will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your high-level administration skills to progress your career at Sedgwick.

What are my accountabilities?

  • Setting up and managing claim files assisting our loss adjusting team
  • Manage customer and client enquiries and provide positive and effective solutions, including complex claim scenarios
  • Providing proactive administrative support to our loss adjusters
  • Professional written correspondence, including reports and emails
  • Liaising with customer, clients and suppliers to enable to speedy resolution of claims
  • Assisting to manage inbound calls

About you :

  • Strong time management skills including the ability to multitask
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft office will be strongly considered
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment (including account management) with the ability to undertake objection handling
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a high performing team and culture
