We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.
About the role
The Research Assistant role will involve data collection in a clinical setting alongside data entry and coding on a day-to-day basis, and other research related tasks as needed.
Examples of tasks you may be expected to undertake include:
Undertake data entry and maintain research files
Collect research data, including interviews with patients and key stakeholders
Undertake qualitative or quantitative analysis of datasets maintained with the relevant program under supervision
Ensure that participants are treated respectfully, confidentiality observed and as individuals whilst participating in projects
Provide assistance in the preparation of written materials such as literature reviews and technical reports
Perform other administration and research tasks as required
