Your Opportunity


The Inner City Sydney Homelessness (Women's) is a transitional accommodation and outreach support service which empowers women, 18 years and above, to enhance their skills and knowledge to lead a better life.

This role will provide assistance to women through individualised and holistic client centred support and referrals as required.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client's needs, strengths and goals
  • Develop individualized case plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on housing stability, employment, healthcare and other essential needs
  • Provide ongoing case management support including advocacy, crisis intervention and referrals to community resources
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate services and ensure holistic support for clients
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of client progress and service supervision
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required
Requirements for Success

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or Diploma in community services with minimum of 2 years' experience in related field
  • Previous experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or in a similar social setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Compassionate, empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to working with clients
  • Driver's license and WWCC


Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people for NSW.
