The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and a keen eye for maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records.

By successfully managing this responsibility, the PLM Compliance Administrator will ensure the PLM system becomes a central repository for all compliance data, fostering efficient ongoing compliance management and reducing the risk of non-compliance in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing clear links between product records, SKUs and eBOMs, and certifications and other compliance data
  • Inputting and configuring certification data within the PLM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Setting up version control mechanisms for certification documents within the PLM system.
  • Implementing and managing compliance workflows within the PLM system for streamlined document and data processes.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and certification partners to obtain missing or updated documentation.
  • Regularly reviewing and optimizing the configuration of certification data within the PLM system, implementing improvements.
  • Generating real-time reports on compliance status for internal monitoring and external audits.
  • Coordinating data preparation for product certifications in collaboration with internal Engineers and external certification bodies.
  • Managing and maintaining ongoing certifications and homologations for products in specific markets
  • Providing support during audits or inspections, ensuring readily available and compliant documentation.
  • Staying informed about industry best practices and changes in regulatory landscapes.

We're Interested in Hearing from People Who Have:

  • Bachelor or above in Engineering, Data science or Business discipline or related field with electrical or mechanical knowledge essential.
  • Experience working with Windchill or similar PLM Systems is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Product Compliance role, preferably within, or servicing, the electrical appliance industry.
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant global industry regulations, standards and directives including UL & IEC Product Safety, EMC, European Low Voltage Directive, WiFi, as well as Chemical, Food and Environmental Safety regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience managing EESS, NOM, KC, CCC or other country level certifications a plus.

What we offer you:

  • Flexible work arrangements
  • Competitive compensation package
  • A fun and rewarding team environment
  • Opportunity to work for an Australian Stock Exchange listed company
  • Employee assistance program
  • Paid parental leave policy
  • Employee discounts of up to 50% on all our electrical products
