Senior Payroll Accountant - Blue Chip - North Sydney

Company Background

Our client is a well-established blue chip corporate with an impressive history and track record. They are proudly Australian and have expanded their operations globally.

Their offices are located in Sydney's Lower North Shore. They possess a uniquely appealing workplace culture that has a hybrid working environment and flexible working options.

This role reports in to a talented, upbeat and charismatic Head of Finance with multiple other touchpoints across the business.

The Role

This is a Senior Payroll Accountant role working in a high calibre team environment. Your responsibilities involve the following:

  • Manage complex reconciliations
  • Preparation of payroll tax returns
  • Review and posting of journals
  • Liaising with both finance and non-finance stakeholders, working as a finance business partner
  • Preparing entitlement reports

Your Background

To be considered for this Senior Payroll Accountant role, you should have the following skills and attributes:

  • Be a qualified Accountant CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Have worked with complex accounting reconciliations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
